MODERN ART is the debut full-length album from electronic artist romaine. The culmination of a year-long foray into releasing music for the first time, MODERN ART serves as an exciting introductory statement, and an engaging and memorable entry into the dance music lexicon.

Speaker-shaking house bangers like Hands and Dogpile are complemented by the calmer and reserved Cells, Interlinked and Sierra. The final track, Forever, was the first song released by romaine to streaming services last year, marking a reprisal return to where the project all began.

Chris Ryan, known professionally as romaine, is an EDM artist from Orlando, FL.

Working as an artist, designer, and video editor, Chris has always been passionate about creativity and expression. They studied music throughout high school, and at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC.

Chris cites Jamie xx, Burial, Disclosure, and SOPHIE as their biggest musical influences, but is a self-proclaimed 'fan of all music,' and often listens to everything from heavy metal to musical theater.

Their debut album, MODERN ART, is scheduled to release on January 30th, 2026 - their 27th birthday.
